These crash protectors fit to the footrest hangers and prevent a lot
of crash damage to the bike, levers, footpegs & Exhaust. |

Please note: The crash protectors are designed
to be the first point of impact as the bike slides on its side in a crash. |
|
|
When the bike then hits an object at speed,
such as a kerb, generally the crash protector can or will break off. |
|
|
If they were made so that they could not break,
then serious damage could occur to the chassis, as that would absorb the
impact. |
|
|
But as the first point of impact, the crash
protectors can help prevent damage to other parts, such as levers, footpegs
etc. |
