Battery Maintenance

Do not discharge fully (as with Ni-Cd) after use, just recharge 
Do not let the battery pack drop below 9.6V 
Use a Delta peak Charger set to 4A maximum.  
Recharge before use if left standing for any length of time 
Do not short the Terminals of the battery 
Do not remove the outer sleeving 
Mount with tye-wraps or in a battery tray 
The battery will got hot when near the completion of the charge.

Green      pin 2 = 0V  


Cable fitted to pack is 31A 50/0.25 2.5mmsq,  
Use 13A cable on short lengths 200mm or less 
Use 31A cable over lengths longer than 200mm

1) On Honda RS125 use total loss, remove the regulator and wire into the clear connector

2) On Honda RS250, use the battery with the regulator. Remove the regulator capacitor and wire into these wires. 
Only connect the battery as the engine is about to be started and disconnect after. 
The regulator will drain the battery when not  being run.

Use with a car battery ( in the car or out ) that is fully charged and above 40Ah. 
Do not use a motorcycle battery as these have insufficient capacity to drive the charger 

The charger will drain up to 7A from the supply battery 


. Connect to the supply battery first the red indicator will flash and then goes off. 
. Set to 12 cells 
. Connect to the battery pack, red indicator on 
. 6 seconds until charge starts 
. Set power level to 4A 
. After the battery is charged then the green light will be on, the battery can be hot. 
. If both lights go off then there is an error.
